FAQ - Payment

Pay to Park is part of the Škoda Connect package and is therefore covered by the Škoda Connect licence. There is no need to pay for the service separately.

Charges for specific parking locations are up to the company offering the parking. Škoda has no influence on prices. Pricing for parking in the various types of parking zones is displayed in the mobile and web apps.

Payments are handled via a payment gateway operated by Parkopedia, which is Škoda Auto’s partner in the provision of this parking payment feature.

The prices in the map view are intended for guidance only. The actual price for the time you park is calculated in the detailed view of each parking location. This is because different rates apply at different times, plus there may be taxes and additional charges.

Parkopedia has rigorous fraud protection in place, so one or more of the issues below may have occurred:

  • Your billing address does not match the address registered with your debit/credit card provider.
  • You have attempted too many payments in a short period of time.
  • There is an issue with your vehicle enrolment.

Invoices and parking history are not available in this initial release of the app. Invoices are emailed to customers.

No, unfortunately, at this stage we cannot identify an electric vehicle by its registration. Therefore, we are unable to support any discounts for electric cars.

The local authorities are able to run online checks. The only exception is Germany, where you have to display a sticker to indicate that you are paying online.

No, parking fines have to be paid to the local institutions who issue the fines.

Personal data usage is covered under the customer terms and conditions (T&Cs) that you acknowledge when you set up an account.
